Wanna jailbreak your iDevice but have a Mac? We have a tutorial for that as well here!

Steps to Jailbreak iOS 12-12.1.2:

Make sure you backup your device on iTunes or iCloud in case anything goes wrong.

Step 1:

You’ll need the latest beta of unc0ver jailbreak from here, and also Cydia Impactor from here. Save these in a folder on your PC.

Steps to Jailbreak iOS 12-12.1.2:

Step 2:

Right click the Impactor .zip file and extract.

Step 3:

Launch Impactor.exe from the extracted folder. Make sure you DON’T run it as administrator.

If asked to confirm, click Run.

Step 4:

Now connect your iPhone to your PC via USB. Make sure to select Trust if prompted on your device, and Continue if prompted by iTunes.

Drag and drop the unc0ver .ipa file which you downloaded earlier into the Cydia Impactor app.

Step 5:

You will be asked to enter your Apple ID and password. Don’t be alarmed as this is only used to allow the unc0ver IPA file to run on your device.

Step 6:

The unc0ver IPA will now be signed by Cydia Impactor, installing the unc0ver jailbreak app on your iDevice.

Step 7:

On your iDevice, open the Settings app from your SpringBoard. Then, choose General from the Settings menu. In the General menu, tap to open iPhone Storage.

If an iOS software update is present, tap and select it and then tap Delete Update. When asked to confirm, press the Delete Update button.

Step 8:

Return to the General menu. From the General menu, select Device Management, and then tap to select your Apple ID.

Press the Trust “” button and choose Trust from the alert that appears.

Step 9:

Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to bring the Control Center up and toggle Airplane Mode on.

Step 10:

Power your phone off by holding down the Power button and swiping the slider that appears. For iPhone X it is Power and Volume Up. After a few seconds, restart your phone by pressing the Power button.

Step 11:

After your phone switches on, ensure you are in Airplane Mode. Launch the unc0ver app on your SpringBoard.

Step 12:
Tap the blue Jailbreak button to begin the jailbreak process.

Step 13:

After a while, you will get a notification saying that the system snapshot has been successfully renamed. Tap the OK button to reboot your iPhone.

Step 14:

Your iPhone will now reboot. Once the iPhone has turned back on, relaunch the unc0ver app and tap the jailbreak button again.

After a while, similar to last time, you’ll be notified that bootstrap has been successfully extracted. Again, tap the OK button to reboot your iPhone.

Step 15:

Repeat Step 15 again as the iPhone restarts. Relaunch the unc0ver app and once more tap the jailbreak button.

Cydia will now get installed by unc0ver. Unc0ver will respring your iPhone. You can now turn Airplane mode off and launch Cydia.

Congratulations! Your iDevice will now be jailbreaked and you’re able to use Cydia.

Some notes:

● This is a semi-tethered jailbreak so you will need launch unc0ver and tap Jailbreak each time you reboot.
● If you don’t have a developer account you will need to re-sideload the unc0ver app every seven days.
● Not all tweaks are compatible with iOS 12 yet but many will be updated in the near future.

We are thankful to Pwn20wned, sbingner, and the rest of the developers who contributed to this jailbreak.
