Unlock All iPhone Models 2013 – Only Two Days Left
DMCA, Digital Millennium Copyright Act, revise its rules and regulations after every three years by examining the ways in which consumers are working or dealing with technology. This year the new rules that DMCA has passed, are being hated by many. The new act dictates that unlocking smartphones and jailbreaking tablets are now held illegal under the law. This is indeed a shocking and heart breaking news for all the iPhone bearers as well as for other smartphone users. In addition to this, unlocking iPhone has already been declared illegal from January 2013.
People have been revolting badly against this law as they believe that one should have rights to do whatever he want after paying the price of that product. Well, this was the reason why we did not see any jailbreaks for the new iPhone 5.
Everyone wants to know that why and how this became so important for the DMCA to introduce such an act to make smartphone bearers uncomfortable. There can be two possible reasons for such an act. First one must have been the cracking of legal apps because when we get some app on a jailbroken device, we do not pay for the license to use it and the only people get hurt because of this are developers. The second reason could have been the loss of revenues of carriers because there are more unlocked smartphones in the market than locked ones.
In my point of view, this will not be the end of this because if things could with only calling things illegal by introducing laws then plagiarism and piracy would have stopped long time ago. If those could not stop then how can this? What do you think of this new act? Would you be in favour or against this act? Share your thoughts with us on this.
