Apple iOS 8 vs Android kitkat – The Main Differences

Apple iOS 8 and Android 4.4 KitKat are both new mobile operating heavyweights. Our iOS 8 vs KitKat comparison review takes a close look at each new operating system.

Interactive Notifications are the big new deal in iOS 8. In iOS the Notifications are designed to spur new kinds of behaviors You can now reply to emails or messages from Notifications.Android KitKat also has interactive notifications, but they’re not as powerful because they require you to quit what you’re already doing to respond to the notification. Although Android announced this feature first, Apple has a better implementation.

while looking at android vs. ios 8, another big new feature from Apple is the presence of the new Quick Type keyboard. Quick Type enables you to tap on words suggestions as you type. It bases guesses for the next word based upon your past conversations. Apple’s Quick Type keyboard will even type into account the app you are using, and will make different suggestions in Messages than in Mail. Apple’s big new cloud service is iCloud Drive. With iCloud Drive, you save, and access files directly to a folder on your Mac’s hard drive. The files stored in iCloud Drive are then accessible inside iCloud Drive-compatible apps. It’s hardly a unique feature, however, and Google has Google Drive (not to mention Dropbox, One Drive, Box.net and all the other similar cloud services).

outlook vs. apple mail
June 11th, 2015 by Amir Ali

Love it or loath it, email is an essential part of any modern technology device. the truth remains that for the vast majority of people it is one of the first things they set up on a new phone, tablet or PC. Using a good client then is very important if you want to get the best out of your electronic missives, and there is no shortage of apps on offer across the iOS platform.

Since the release of Windows 8 Microsoft has been using a new design language that feels modern and sparse. In some ways it’s reminiscent of Google’s simplistic, clean approach, one which is very easy on the eye.

outlook vs Apple mail, Which is Better?

The new Outlook app is a very good example of how this refined approach can look quite at home on the iOS platform, and bears a passing resemblance to Apple’s own Mail client.Outlook features support for a number of recognized email services, including Exchange, Outlook.com, iCloud, Gmail, and Yahoo, all of which share a unified inbox when set up. This means that you don’t have to jump between different account to see any new email, as it is all controlled from one single inbox. This is the same as Apple’s Mail app, and a feature that makes using both offerings much easier than some of their competitors.outlook vs. apple mail

By contrast Apple Mail is a straightforward design that features the same two column layout with just the search bar at the top of the left hand column. Both apps have options to display the various mailboxes that make up the inbox; this is useful if you use tags to sort your mail – say for example on Gmail – as you can navigate to these within a couple of taps.

Apple has stuck with its tried and tested menu tree, but somehow it seems cluttered, or at least somewhat scruffy when compared to the elegant font and layout that Microsoft has chosen for Outlook. It’s a little thing, after all both show very similar results, but it’s noticeable that Outlook feels more modern and polished in this area.

Jailbreak 5.1 Semi Untethered On iPhone, iPod Touch & iPad (4th Gen) With Redsn0w. Below is the guide on How to jailbreak ios 5.1
This is a semi untethered 5.1 jailbreak therefore you need to boot tethered each time you restart your device. If you want to use an unlock it is highly recommend to stay on iOS 5.0.1. This jailbreak is not for iPad 2 or 3, and the iPhone 4s if these are running ios 5.1

Step 1: Download latest version of RedSn0w 0.9.10b6 by Clicking below links:

RedSn0w 0.9.10b6 For Windows

RedSn0w 0.9.10b6 For Mac

Step 2: Extract the zip file and run the RedSn0w.exe file to start the redsn0w jailbreak process.

Step 3: There are two buttons “Extras” and “Jailbreak”, click the first button Jailbreak to jailbreak and install Cydia

Step 4: Connect your iPad 1 into the computer using the USB port. Read instructions on below screen and make sure that your iPad is OFF before clicking the Next button.

You can see on the screen that this jailbreak is also compatible for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 but remember if these are having iOS 5.0.1 and if having iOS 5.1 then it is not compatible.

Step 5: Now you have to put your device in DFU (direct firmware update) mode, just follow the RedSn0w screen instructions and you will do it, if you feel difficulty you can visit this post on How to put your iPad in DFU mode.

  • Hold down both the Home button and the Power button for 10 seconds.
  • Release the Power button and continue holding the Home button until RedSn0w detects the device.

Step 6: Just observer the screen message and let it complete until next input screen comes.

Your iPad will now reboot to identify the build.

Now RedSn0w will prepare the jailbreak data.

Step 7: On next screen check Install Cydia from the list of check box options and click Next.

Step 8: iPad will now reboot and RedSn0w will build the jailbreak process and upload ramdisk. The remaining part of jailbreak will take place on your iPad and you can see the RedSn0w icon on the screen with progress bar. After completion of this jailbreak install the iPad will reboot and will have Cydia installed. Now you have to boot it using RedSn0w before you can use the Cydia and Safari.

Step 9: Boot Tethered iPAd1 : Again start the RedSn0w and Select Extras this time.

Step 10: Select Just boot from the Extras menu to just boot tethered right now. The iPad 1 will reboot and now it is tethered jailbroken. You can run Cydia now. Just tap the Cydia icon on your springboard and if it loads it means your jailbreak is successful. If Cydia is not running try reinstalling again from step 1.
