Apple has released iOS 6.1.2 to fix a bug with Microsoft Exchange Calendar that could result in increased network activity and reduced battery life, but this updated OS has also not prevented from the Evad3rs members. Recently Evad3rs member Planetbeing has tweeted the good news that his iPhone 5 is jailbreakable on iOS 6.1.2 and he is testing other devices.

Not yet able to test all devices, but it’s looking good for 6.1.2. iPad mini wi-fi and iPhone 5 are still jailbreakable.

Usually when new iOS has jailbroken then Apple release new and updated iOS with more secure and fix bugs, but this time Apple released updated the iOS that is iOS 6.1.2 with fix a bug of Microsoft Exchange Calendar, then Apple didn’t give any attention to the security of updated OS ,therefore Evad3rs team has jailbroken easily their iPhone 5 and iPad mini.
