Nokia Lumia O2 APN Settings For Internet & MMS

There are many Nokia Lumia users who are unable to get the O2 APN settings and are unable to use the mobile internet and use the MMS service. The first step a user takes is to call its carrier i.e. AT&T or O2 etc, they will send settings but the device gives errors that you can not set up the apn settings automatically.

Here is a solution which you can try and I hope you will be able to use mobile internet and mms on your Nokia Lumia.

Go to settings and find “access point” there you will find the name of your carrier and if you will try to tap it or change, may be it will not work.

Tap Add at the bottom  and go for Internet APN settings & MMS APN settings.

For internet APN settings for O2 you can see below screen shot and fill the data. The password is : password

For MMS APN settings you can fill the data as mentioned in below screen. In this case the password is: o2wap

After making these settings go to access point main screen and set the newly added access points as active.  Now you can use the mobile internet and the MMS service. I believe in this way you can set the apn settings for any carrier if your Lumia device is unlocked.

If you are not aware I would like to tell that you can also share the mobile internet with other WiFi devices or to your computer using internet wifi hotspot.
