Nokia Lumia 920 Internet Sharing – How To Guide

This is a basic feature provided in Nokia Lumia 920 since this is now common in all latest smartphones. By using internet sharing you can use Nokia Lumia as a Wi-Fi Hotspot for up to 5 Wi-Fi-enabled devices. In order to use the personal hotspot feature in Lumia 920 your data plan and carrier should support this feature, otherwise you will not be able to use internet sharing.

Once the data package is supporting it is very easy to turn on the personal hotspot by going to the settings. But some people are unable to connect especially on //Build Nokia Lumia 920 device. I found a tweak that worked well if your Nokia Lumia internet sharing is not working. This tweak is actually applied in my opinion when you add/install a new keyboard to your device. Most probably this updates the missing feature of internet sharing on Nokia Lumia and it starts working. Even if after one keyboard installation it is not working or stops working you can install another keyboard and this works.

How To Activate Internet Sharing On Nokia Lumia 920

Note: This is not the only option to activate the WiFi internet sharing but this is a tweak that worked with some users when their Lumia devices were not able to connect or turn on the internet sharing.

This will be done by installing the Spanish keyboard. Go to Settings => Keyboard => + Add Keyboards => Select Spanish (Spain) => Select the checkbox to install the Spanish keyboard.

After the keyboard install you will see your Nokia Lumia will work as WiFi hotspot modem and you can share internet using the Nokia Lumia 920 internet hotspot.
