Welcome to Jailbreak Station’s latest updated jailbreak guides/tutorials. Finding a suitable iOS jailbreak for your device and your iOS sometimes becomes very difficult because when you search on Google for jailbreak you will find many guides and tutorial making you confused. Therefore I decided to write this complete list of all available jailbreak including the status of new Apple devices i.e. iPhone 5 Jailbreak, iPad Mini Jailbreak and iPad 4 Jailbreak.
You can now scroll down directly to below list of tutorials if you don’t want to read more which may lead you to some confusion about the latest 6.1.2 jailbreak.
At the moment RedSnow 0.9.15b3 and Absinthe 2.0.4 are Evasi0n v 1.5 is latest jailbreak versions available for jailbreaking iOS 6.0, 6, 6.0.1, 6.1, 6.1.1 and 6.1.2 5.1.1 and 5.0.1. The current redsnow jailbreak for iOS 6.0.1 jailbreak is not untethered jailbreak and is also not compatible for A5 devices i.e. iphone 4S, iPad 4/3/2, iPad Mini and iPhone 5, but if you have A4 and previous devices running 6.0.1 or 6.0 you can jailbreak these devices using redsnow.
We recommend to use only Evasi0n iOS 6 Jailbreak which is compatible with all devices running any version of iOS 6 i.e. 6.0, 6.0.1, 6.0.2, 6.1, 6.1.1 or 6.1.2.
Tethered vs Untethered Jailbreak
One more important thing to understand is the current iOS 6.0.1 jailbreak is tethered that means after jailbreak you have to boot tethered your device so that Cydia and Safari can work otherwise you can not use jailbreak utilities. Also if you need to reboot your device due to any reason you will need to boot tethered to get access to Cydia or jailbreak apps and tweaks. If your A4 devices are running 5.1.1 the available jailbreak is Absinthe which is untethered and your device behaves normally even if you boot it again and again.
