Apple’s big announcement is coming close as we move towards September, and we now know just what the big handsets that are planned to be released will look like. All thanks to notorious Twitter leaker, Ben Geskin, sharing images of what he reports are dummy units for the 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus and the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone.
As visible in the images, we can decipher that the 6.1-inch iPhone model will possess a single circular rear camera, whereas the superior plus model in white will retain a dual-camera layout similar to the iPhone X.
The second big difference between these two devices as visible and already known is the material used for the phone’s main body. The iPhone X plus will boast a stainless steel frame, whereas the 6.1-inch model will feature an aluminium body, hence making it the less premium but more affordable phone.
The 6.1-inch model seem to feature slightly thicker bezels as seen in above image, which might be seen as a drawback by some iPhone admirers. This is due to the LCD technology as it requires extra space to house the hardware required for it.
Furthermore, the Plus model is expected to also come in a new gold colour option, which the iPhone X will also be available in. Whereas the 6.1-inch LCD model will arrive in a variety of colours, including Blue, Yellow, Orange and more.
In the end, these are likely only based on leaked schematics and some features might be different or might not be present in the actual product.
