iPad Mini Will Be Produced in Brazil – Reports

There has been many reports and rumors about the release of Nexus 7 counterpart from Apple that will be called iPad Mini. Many technology blogs like Bloomberg, WSJ and iClarified has reported about the new iPad Mini that it will have screen size of 7 inches to 8 inches diagonally which is less than the current 9.7-inch version, screen will not be high definition retina display as was in the case of the new iPad. Although the reports are from anonymous sources but there is strong belief that Apple hasn't made its plans public and definitely the iPad Mini will be released by Apple in October 2012. The cost of new iPad Mini may be $249-299 and it may feature 7.85-inch Sharp IGZO display panel as reported in a technology blog.

There has been a new report on a blog named Makotakara from japan that iPad Mini will be produced in Brazil. As reported on the blog:

According to Chinese reliable source, the tablet called iPad mini will be produced in Brazil, however production test to collect data for new cutting machine is already done in China.

Source said that, production phase of this tablet will be started since September, and this tablet should be shipped until holiday season, but announcement will not be so soon.

This tablet seems to have 3G model, but not all current carrier might sale, some career name are not seen in list of resellers.

This source, who seems to look a prototype, told that new tablet (iPad mini?) had same hight with Nexus 7 and slight larger width. Even though front projection size is larger than rivals, thickness of that new tablet is considered to be thinner than current most thinnest tablet Kindle Fire, and to be similar with iPod touch (4th generation) by this source.
