Joshua Hill known as @p0sixninja who was behind the iPhone 4S 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak and iPad 2 untethered jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 has tweeted and stated that he has joined the efforts to jailbreak untethered iPad 3. P0sixninja is part of the Chronic Dev-team and he was the main person behind the Absinthe Greenpoi0n untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S / iPad 2 running iOS 5.0.1. From his tweet it seems that he has just bought the new iPad 3 and now he is spending his time on the beach to find out the exploits for ios 5.1 untethered iPad 3 jailbreak.

I already mentioned in my previous posts that i0n1c has successfully got the ios 5.1 ipad 3 jailbreak which he has shown in a video that iPad 3 was running Cydia. If you are a regular reader of my blog you know that other exploits to jailbreak iPad 3 are also discovered by MuscleNerd of iPhone Dev-team and Phoenix-dev Frant Paul and Paul Griffin.

Another famous French jailbreaker and hacker Pod2g who was also behind the iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak, is struggling hard to find vulnerabilities to jailbreak iOS 5.1.
