A new video has been released by Pod2g showing that iPad 3 is running Cydia and that it is untethered jailbreak for ios 5.1.Below are the most recent three tweets which are self explanatory:

1. Hey. iPad 3,1 running iOS 5.1 untethered. Next on the list: stabilizing the payload, then trying 5.1.1.
2. If it works on iPad 3 and iPhone 4, I can say it’ll work on any device. The ATV3 may be out tho… :/

This is of course a big news but few days back pod2g also tweeted that he has got untethered iPhone4 5.1 but most of visitors to my blog are asking when the jailbreak software will be released. Although the recent video is a proof of the untethered iPad 3 jailbreak but again the question will arise about the release date.
