iOS 10.2 Jailbreak is Coming – Won’t Work for iPhone 7

Luca Todesco, the hacker/developer who released the recent yalu jailbreak, has announced that he is planning to add support for iOS 10.2 jailbreak. Unfortunately, the updated jailbreak will not support the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus on iOS 10.2 but it will support only ios 10 and 10.1 on iPhone 7 devices.

My fix for the issues in the 10.1 jailbreak will be to add support to 10.2. It will however not work on iPhone 7 on 10.2, just 10 and 10.1.

It’s unclear when the update will be released. Yalu is still in the beta stages and doesn’t have a working mobile substrate. It’s only recommended that developers jailbreak at this time.
