Below are the steps to download and install evasi0n ios 6.1 jailbreak, the procedure is very simple and requires to download the file and just run the evasi0n.exe. Only your device should be running iOS 6.0, 6.0.1, 6.0.2, 6.1.1 or 6.1.2. The below mentioned 6.1.2 jailbreak is compatible with all iOS devices except AppleTV 3rd generation.

Update: There were many iphone 4s users facing problem of 3g network i.e slow download speed and connectivity problem, now iOS 6.1.1 is available for iPhone 4s which you can download and jailbreak using evasi0n 1.3 which also rectifies the problem of weather app which was crashing after evasi0n 1.0 jailbreak. How To Jailbreak 6.1.2 Untethered

Step 1: First of all you have to download Evasi0n 1.4 software on your computer and run the program after saving it. You will see below screen of evasi0n software. Connect your device using USB or lightening cable and window will display your device information after recognizing it. If it is compatible with your device it will inform you and Jailbreak button will be enabled.

Step 2: On main evasi0n window click Jailbreak to start the jailbreak process, after a while Evasi0n will give a message to tap a new icon on springboard of your idevice. Unlock the screen and find the icon of new application called “Jailbreak”, just tap it and your jailbreak will continue.

Step 3: After the jailbreak is completed device will reboot, showing the evasi0n logo and various status messages on screen. Cydia 6.1.2 6.0, 6.1 or 6.1.1 is now already installed, just tap the Cydia icon to enjoy the jailbroken device.

On first run the Cydia will take some time and ask for selection whether you are a user or developer, just select user and it will be ready to search jailbroken apps.

What To Do After Jailbreak

Restore from backup if you have already made the backup and start installing Cydia apps, I recommend below tweaks which I found useful for new jailbreakers. You can search all of them in your new Cydia 6.1 app store.
