Google Glasses Are Going To Ship At End Of January For $1500
All new Google Glasses will be reaching to the developers this month, who pre-ordered these last year at Google event. These cost $1500 and you must be thinking that it is a big amount for such a new technology that has not been tested yet. But I believe it’s reasonable as this is not even out of development yet. However, there are other developers too, how will be experiencing this technology, Google Glasses, at Google event that will be take place in San Francisco on 28th to 29th January and in New York on 1st to 2nd February.
This Google project has brought the technology closer to reality. These glasses are just like the ones that we wear every day except it has no any lens and it only has the top rim.
These glasses run on Android software and are commanded through facial expressions, for example looking at the notification bar to access it, and voice commands. You can do pretty much a lot with this new invention, such as replying to messages, taking pictures with your eye expressions, accessing maps to help you find directions, listening to music, watching videos, sharing to Google+ and hanging out and spotting the other Google Glasses users in the area. However, a Google demonstration video of two minutes will help you learn about this project.
Google has further planned to hold a ‘glass foundry’ of two days, which will allow developers to know about this product in depth. First day will mainly allow them to learn and use it whereas the second day will demonstrate them about how explore Mirror API, which facilitates in exchanging data with other glasses users. For all those other consumers, who want to get their hands on it, should know that this product will launch either in 2013 or 2014.
