Need to jailbreak your iphone, ipod or ipad on any iOS i.e. 6.1.4, 6.1.3, 6.1.2 and earlier versions? Here is the right place which you should bookmark. The first tutorial is to jailbreak 6.1.3 on iPhone 4, 3gs and iPod Touch 4g. Step 3: If you see the message that your iphone, ipod or ipad is compatible with the current version it means you can continue for iOS 6.1.3 jailbreaking process, if you have already taken backup and you are sure what you are going to do click the Jailbreak button and the 6.1.2 jailbreaking will start.
At this stage you should note that current version is not compatible with jailbreaking the iOS 6.1.3 or to jailbreak 6.1.4. Therefore this is advised to not try this procedure other than 6.1.2 jailbreak.

- Download redsn0w 0.9.15b3 from our free redsn0w download page.
- Download iOS 6.0 file for your device from our free ios 6.0 download page for iPhone & For iPod Touch
- Start the redsn0w program and go to Extras => Select ipsw and now select the ios 6.0 ipsw file which we downloaded in previous step.
- Go back to main redsn0w screen and click Jailbreak, when asked only select Install Cydia and click Next.
- Put your device in DFU mode and let the jailbreak process to complete.
- After your device is ready again select ipsw and after that click Just Boot in Extras menu. Again put your device in DFU and after a while once your device reboots it is now jailbroken on iOS 6.1.3

As a new jailbreaker you may not be aware of the existing solutions for different iOS versions. Many of iPhone 4 users who have updated to 6.1.3 are now looking for a solution on how to jailbreak iphone 4 on ios 6.1.3. Currently there is only one legitimate and tested software available which you can use to jailbreak iphone 4 on 6.1.3, which is of course redsn0w the old and most used software. But the problem with existing tool is that it is tethered and also requires to download 6.0 firmware for conducting the jailbreak of 6.1.3, which is due to the limera1n exploit that works with ios 6 only. Therefore when you jailbreak 6.1.3 on iPhone 4 you will also download and select the 6.0 firmware during the jail break process.
Also one must note that this will be a tethered solution that means you need to use a computer and redsn0w program in case you want to reboot your iPhone 4 although it is no problem if you reboot without redsn0w the difference will be that two programs will not work i.e. Safari and Cydia other iPhone functions will be OK. If you are looking for an untethered 6.1.3 jailbreak for iphone 4 then sorry right now there is no solution available for untethered JB of 6.1.3,
Procedure to jailbreak iPhone 4 ios 6.1.3
Step 1: As always we recommend our visitors to backup their iphone before starting the JB process, you can simply start iTunes while your iphone 4 is connected to computer and in the middle of the iTunes screen click backup and make sure to select backup to this computer before clicking backup.
Step 2: you need to download two files for which you should have a good wifi connection because firmware file is large sized. Download ios 6.0 from here and redsn0w 0.9.15b3 from here.
Step 3: Now turn off your iPhone and connect it to computer and run the redsn0w program as administrator. You will see main redsnow window, go to Extras => Select IPSW and select the file when asked by the tool. Once you click open the software will give an information pup up message and nothing will happen more.
Step 4: Now go to main window and click jailbreak after a while the program will ask you to make selection from different options. Just only select Install Cydia and un-check all other options, and press Next.
Step 5: The program will give you a window with next steps i.e. turn off your iPhone 4 and put in DFU mode. DFU or direct firmware update mode is very important step to start a jailbreak process. Therefore you should understand the steps carefully. If you are a new jailbreaker then you may be a little bit confused because you may need to try many times to put your device in dfu mode. Don’t panic just press the key combinations as mentioned in the redsn0w screen and if you fail in one try don’t touch the program and try the same combination again and again, as soon as you will do correctly the program will proceed automatically and you will see activity on the redsn0w screen.
Step 6: After you have put your iphone 4 in DFU mode now just relax and see the jailbreak process completing automatically. After a while you will see your iPhone 4 rebooting and also redsn0w i.e. pineapple icon on your iPhone screen with a progress bar. Once device becomes ready it means it is now jailbroken and we need last step of booting tethered.

Step 7: Select again the ios 6.0 ipsw file as we did in step 3, and then go to Extras => Just boot. Again you will need to put your device in DFU mode and remaining part will complete automatically. After the iPhone 4 is rebooted you will see it is now having Cydia on it and now you can run the Cydia 6.1.3 to install the 6.1.3 jailbreak tweaks and themes etc.

At the moment Evasi0n v 1.5 is latest versions available for jail breaking iOS 6.0, 6, 6.0.1, 6.1, 6.1.1 and 6.1.2 untethered. You can use Absinthe to jail break iOS 5.1.1 and earlier versions on all devices.
iOS 6.1.4 update: Apple has released iOS 6.1.4 for iPhone 5 if you have upgraded and want to jail break iphone 5 on 6.1.4 you must wait until next major upgrade is available i.e. iOS 7 because after its release iOS 7 jailbreak will be released hopefully. Jailbreak 6.1.3
You can JB 6.1.3 on only three devices i.e. iPhone4, 3gs & iPod Touch 4g, and the current redsnow tool for iOS 6.1.3 is not untethered and is also not compatible for jailbreaking A5 devices i.e. iphone 4S, iPad 4/3/2, iPad Mini, iPod touch 5g and iPhone 5, but if you have A4 and previous devices running 6.1.3 you can jail break these devices using redsnow. We recommend to use only Evasi0n iOS 6 which is compatible with all devices running any version of iOS 6 i.e. 6.0, 6.0.1, 6.0.2, 6.1, 6.1.1 or 6.1.2.
Tethered vs Untethered Jailbreak
One more important thing to understand is the currently available tool redsn0w for 6.1.3 is tethered that means you have to boot tethered your device so that Cydia and Safari can work otherwise you can not use these utilities. Also if you need to reboot your device due to any reason you will need to boot tethered to get access to Cydia or other apps and tweaks. If your A4 devices are running 5.1.1 the available tool is Absinthe which is untethered and your device behaves normally even if you boot it again and again.

Is it possible to jailbreak 6.1.3 or 6.1.4 on iPhone 5, many of our blog users are not yet clear how to JB iPhone 5 on iOS 6.1.4 untethered. The answer to this question is not that simple because when we say there is no tool or software available to jailbreak 6.1.4 the one can ask why and when it will be possible.
The answer to why is that our jail breakers or hackers have already done lot of work for next release although Apple has patched some of previous exploits they used to jailbreak 6.1.2. The only barrier to the release of next version is the major ios update or next release which we believe will be release of iOS 7 in WWDC in June 2013. After the WWDC we might be able to predict exact dates for release of a software to jailbreak iOS 7 because this is believed that after iOS 7 release the hackers will work to apply their exploits which they don’t want to expose at the moment.
Jailbreak 6.1.4 iPhone 5 Untethered
If you are still on 6.1.2 or earlier versions no need to worry just visit our home page and find the tutorial of your choice as per your device and iOS version. On the other hand if you have upgraded to iOS 6.1.4 on iPhone 5 or iOS 6.1.3 you don’y have any option except wait for next release. You can still jail break 6.1.3 on iPhone 4, 3gs and iPod touch 4g using redsnow tool, but unfortunately the existing solution is a tethered 6.1.3 jailbreak for A4 and pre-A4 devices.

If you are frequent visitor of my blog you know that famous hackers like pod2g has already mentioned clearly that there will be no more jb release until the release of next major version i.e. iOS 7 and that is due to the availability of very few iOS 6 hacking exploits out of which at least one, that was very important, was removed by Apple in iOS 6.1.3 due to which we are unable to get an untethered jailbreak for ios 6.1.3.
In summary right now there is no tool available to jail break iOS 6.1.4 on iPhone 5
Since iOS 6.1.4 was released only for iPhone 5 therefore now only iPhone 5 users are those who are looking for a tool for 6.1.4 on iPhone 5. In my opinion the best option is to stay away from any offered solution i.e. paid or free from different sources, instead just wait for the release of iOS 7 and we hope a new solution for iOS 7 will come out after its final release in June 2013.

If you have also updated your iphone 5 to iOS 6.1.3 you must be looking for an untethered iPhone 5 tool for 6.1.3. Currently there is only one iOS 6.1.3 jail break software available which is redsn0w 0.9.15b3 but it is of no use for you if you want to use it on iphone 5 for ios 6.1.3 because it is only compatible with iPhone 4, iPhone 3gs and ipod touch. There are many reason that Apple hacking community is not releasing the untethered tool for ios 6.1.3, one major reason is the upcoming release of iOS 7 in coming month i.e. June 2013. As per the current status from different sources, hackers might be having the exploits to jailbreak ios 6.1.3 untethered but they are not willing to expose or waste the exploits, which they will most probably use for jailbreaking iOS 7.

Below is the step wise and easy to understand guide for iPhone 5 at iOS 6.1.2, 6.1, 6.0.1, 6.0.2, 6.0.3 etc. If you have iOS 6.1.3 please do not try to JB iphone 5 on 6.1.3 using any software because this may give you some unexpected errors or you may brick your iPhone 5.
Step 1: Download latest version of evasi0n which is v 1.5 by clicking this evasi0n download page. Extract the file and save on an easy location on your computer.
Step 2: Connect your iPhone 5 to your computer using standard USB lightening cable, and run the evasi0n program as administrator by right clicking and selecting the option of Run As Administrator.
Step 3: Since your iPhone is running iOS 6.1.2 or earlier version evasi0n program will immediately recognize it and will display the name of your iPhone 5 with the message that iPhone 5 is compatible. In order to start the process click the Jailbreak button on the evasi0n main window and the process will start.
After a while you will see that the progress bar will stop and a message will appear on evasi0n screen as shown in below image.
Just open the screen of your iPhone 5 and tap a new evasi0n jailbreak icon on springboard, you will see progress on evasi0n screen and also on your device screen. After some time the process will be completed and your iphone 5 will boot few times.

Semi untethered jailbreak iOS 6.1.3 on iPhone 4, 3GS & iPod Touch 4G

Semi untethered jailbreak iOS 6.1.3 for iPhone 4, iPhone 3Gs an iPod Touch 4G is ready. If you were waiting to update your device to iOS 6.1.3 then stop waiting and start jailbreaking your iDevices, but remember this is a semi untethered tool.
Note: this tutorial and update is only for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 4G so other users do not try it. We also recommend you that 6.1.2 evasi0n jailbreak is much better for your devices if you have older idevices.
This tutorial will use Redsn0w semi untethered jailbreaking tool on iPhone 4, 3GS and iPod 4G so you have to perform last few steps every time whenever reboot your device.
Semi untethered jailbreaking to iOS 6.1.3 on iPhone 4, 3GS & iPod 4G
Procedure for Semi untethered jailbreaking iOS 6.1.3:
- Download Redsn0w 0.8.15b3 latest version from download page and open it.
- Download iOS 6.0 ipsw file from Here.
- Set the compatibility mode on Windows OS and run the executable redsn0w.exe file “as administrator”.
- Connect iPhone/iPod with to your computer using USB data cable.
- On redsn0w main screen click on “Extras” and then “IPSW” then choose 6.0-firmware file from your PC drive, which you downloaded in second step.
- Go back to redsn0w main screen and click on “Jailbreak”, when asked , check the option of “Install Cydia” and click next to continue the 6.1.3 jailbreak process.
- Put your device in DFU mode, as guided by the program on the screen, once your device is in DFU the jailbreak process will continue and your iphone/ipod shall reboot and after some time it will be ready.
- Now use below step to boot tethered because at this stage Cydia and Safari will not work.
Boot Tethered After Semi untethered 6.1.3 jailbreak
As mentioned above that this is Semi untethered jailbreak so you have to perform below steps every time when you reboot your device. However, you also have to perform these steps right now.
9. Launch Redsn0w > ”Extras” > “Select IPSW” > 6.0 files.
10. Choose the “Just boot” option and follow the instructions.

How To Jailbreak iPod Touch 4G & iPod Touch 5G iOS 6

There are multiple options available if you want to jailbreak ipod touch depending upon the model and ios version. The first option is evasi0n 1.5 untethered jailbreak which is useful if your iPod touch 4g or 5g have iOS 6.1.2 or previous versions i.e. 6.0, 6.1.1, 6.0.1 etc. The second option is use of redsn0w 0.9.15b3 which will come into picture if your iPod touch 4g has ios 6.1.3, remember there is no jailbreak available for iPod Touch 5g if it is having ios 6.1.3. The available 6.1.3 jailbreak is tethered that means you shall always need to use a computer if your device reboots due to any reason otherwise due to tethered jailbreak Cydia and Safari will not work and crash if you start these programs with tethered booting.
The third option for ipod touch jailbreaking is sn0wbreeze latest version again this is only compatible with ipod touch 4g on iOS 6.1.3 and is a tethered solution as mentioned above.
How To Jailbreak iPod Touch 4g iOS 6.1.3
Download redsn0w by clicking here, extract and run the program as administrator.
Download iOS 6.0 firmware file for ipod touch 4g from iOS download page, this is ipsw file which we will use for jailbreaking iPod Touch.
Connect the ipod touch 4g to computer using the original USB cable, on redsn0w main window go to Extras => Select IPSW => Now browse and select the ipsw file which you downloaded in previous step.
There will be no activity when you will select 6.0 ipsw, now go back to main redsn0w menu and click Jailbreak => Click Continue => Select Install Cydia => Put your iphone 4 in DFU mode when it will be asked and let the jailbreak process complete. Now your iPod Touch is jailbroken on 6.1.3, but still it requires tethered boot so that you can be able to use Safari and Cydia otherwise these two apps will not work.
Install Cydia on iPod Touch after iOS 6.1.3 Jailbreak
Since this is a tethered ipod touch JB, at first you will not see Cydia after jailbreak, so in order to get Cydia working you need to boot tethered by following below step which ultimately will install cydia on ipod touch 4g.
Boot Tethered After jailbreaking 6.1.3
Open redsn0w and on main window go to Extras => Select IPSW => Browse and select 6.0 ipsw as we did in the beginning. Go back to Extras and click Just boot, follow screen instructions to complete the process and put your device in DFU mode. After this step is successfully completed ipod touch is now ready to be used as a jailbroken device.
How To Jailbreak iPod Touch 5G & 4G On iOS 6.1.2 and older versions
Download evasi0n latest version from our evasi0n jailbreak download page by visiting evasi0n download page, and extract the evsai0n.zip file and save on your desktop for easy access.
Connect your iPod to computer using standard USB lightening cable or 30 pin cable, and run the evasi0n program as administrator. evasi0n program will recognize your device and give you message that your device is compatible, click the Jailbreak button on the evasi0n main window, the jailbreak process will now start automatically.
Let the ipod touch jailbreaking process complete, device will reboot and on evasi0n screen after almost 75% progress you will receive a message
“To continue, please unlock your device and tap the new ‘jailbreak’ icon. Only tap it once! the screen will go blank and then return to the home screen”
Just unlock your ipod touch and tap the new jailbreak icon on the springboard, you will see progress on evasi0n screen again and also on your ipod touch device screen as well in the form of text scrolling. After some time the jailbreak process will be completed and your device will boot few times.
Finally you will see completed message on evasi0n tool’s main window you are done now you can run the Cydia and enjoy the new jailbreak on your ipod touch 5g/4g.
