Apple has just released iOS 8.4 which is now available for download. The new software is bringing support for the new Apple Music streaming service.

As of now there is no update about the availability of jailbreak for iOS 8.4 therefore we recommend all jailbreakers to keep away from upgrading to 8.4 because next jailbreak may possibly be focused on iOS 9 not for iOS 8.4.

This update introduces Apple Music – a revolutionary music service, 24/7 global radio, and a way for fans to connect with their favorite artists – all included in the redesigned Music app. iOS 8.4 also includes improvements for iBooks and bug fixes.

You can get iOS 8.4 by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update, on your iOS device.

One of those features is a standalone iCloud Drive app. It’s not immediately apparent, but while launching an app we received a pop-up asking us if we wanted to install it. We were also able to access it via the Settings app iCloud the to iCloud Drive and finally show on Home Screen. Now you have the freedom to work with the document of your choice on the device of your choice. Because with iCloud Drive, you can safely store all your presentations, spreadsheets, PDFs, images, and any other kind of document in iCloud and access them from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC.

iOS 9 is Coming with Hidden iCloud Drive

Using iCloud Drive means you’ll always have access to the latest version of all your documents from any device. For example, you can start creating a presentation on your Mac at home, then make final edits and present it in class using your iPad. Click here to read iOS 9 Face Time Camera Features.

All the changes you make along the way appear automatically on all your devices.Your apps can now share files, which means you can access and work on the same file across multiple apps. For example, you can create a drawing in a sketching app, then open it in a painting app to color it in. Or create a chart in one app and place it in a slideshow using a presentation app. No more making copies or importing documents from one app to another. icloud-drive-1-500x360

It’s a whole new level of collaboration among apps. The app is apparently optional and needs to be switched on in Settings before it appears on the home screen, so Apple likely doesn’t plan to make it a core part of the iOS experience. But the app could make iCloud Drive a more usable alternative to competing cloud services like Dropbox, giving users a more familiar and traditional way to handle their files and saved data from other apps.

While the iPhone has become the de facto the most popular camera in the world, many Android handsets have far better cameras out the front for taking selfies. But that could change soon as code strings point to a future Face-Time camera upgrade delivering video-shooting capabilities in full High Definition 1080 pixels resolution, Slow-Mo video capture at 240 frames per second and more.

Code strings in iOS 9 contain placeholders for other front-facing camera features, including panoramic capture and built-in flash. Many people are looking forward to capture panorama pictures of their face.To better put these features in context, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus face-time cameras are both outfitted with a rather sub-par Face-Time camera for taking selfies with a ƒ-/2.2 aperture and 720 pixels video recording capability.

iOS 9 important Feature will Be Face Time Camera:

When it comes to taking photos, however, these cameras only capture 1.2-megapixel photos in a laughable 1,280-by-960 pixel resolution. Other features of the Face-Time camera on the new iPhones include backside illumination sensor, auto HDR for photos and videos, improved face detection, support for burst mode, manual exposure control and timer mode.

The report said Apple and Sony had entered an agreement to build a new plant for iPhone camera sensors worth 35 billion yen, or about $340 million. In addition, Apple pundit John Gruber learned “from a birdie of a birdie” that Apple is in fact working on the “biggest camera jump ever” for the next iPhone model.iPhone-6-front-camera

The popularity of selfie apps and dedicated selfie sticks for taking single and group photos while being able to preview the image from the iPhone display certainly warrants attention given to improving the Face-Time camera. Bringing brand new features like front flash and existing features like panorama and slow-mo capture to the Face-Time camera should amount to a compelling upgrade for many iPhone users if the what the code suggests does ship this fall.

With WWDC 2015 announcing iOS 9 with a flurry of new features and improvements, there should be a review about iOS 8 vs. iOS 9.  It seems that Apple has opted to use a new system font named “San Francisco” for iphone’s, iPads and Macs running iOS 9. If the new font sounds familiar to you, it may be because it’s the system font used on the Apple Watch OS. Developers are already redesigning their apps for San Francisco, which has already spread from the Apple Watch to the printed keyboard characters of the new 12in MacBook.

iOS 9 vs iOS 8: What’s new?

iOS 8’s Search feature is one that we find ourselves using quite often, and has come a long way since the pre-iOS 7 days. In iOS 8, you can use Search to search Wikipedia, find the latest news, nearby places, apps from the App Store, songs from the iTunes Store and suggested websites, as well as your contacts, messages, emails and notes. Siri and Search are about to get a lot better in iOS 9.

The company apparently wants to offer a range of additional information and features based on the users habits and an understanding of context, making your iPhone a “proactive assistant”. Search will also display categories of nearby places including food, drink, shopping and fun. You’ll also be served with trending news story based on your current location so you’re always in the loop.

In iOS 8, a smart device can only be controlled via its own dedicated app and is unable to communicate with other apps/devices.  Home Kit is Apple’s answer to an Internet of Things platform, which enables users to control a manner of smart connected devices from their iPhone’s using either a “Home” app or Siri.

As we know that Apple may have released a provisional fix for the uncontrolled and wicked iOS text bug which can crash your iPhone without any trouble but that fix is not permanent but that is temporary. Well! This can be fixed permanently by jailbreaking. IneffectivePower is a jailbreak tweak which helps in defying the danger of this bug permanently. How to permanently fix the iPhone message crash bug is explained here.

Permanent fix out is needed because temporary fix out requires a quick and effective update due to the substantial risks pointed by security analysts such as hijacking or hacking. Apple has claimed that they are planning on releasing a permanent fix, probably in the form of the iOS 8.4 firmware update. It would be something that could get very risky for jailbreak users and those who are already waiting for one running iOS 8.3 which cannot be jailbroken for now.

How to fix iPhone Messages Crash Bug permanently:

Fortuitously jailbroken iPhones users should be helped by Cydia tweak in avoiding the dangers linked with that nasty bug. There are a small number of other fixes as well for the bug available on Cydia but the IneffectivePower’s developer says that their fix is currently the superior option out there as it works on a system-wide level. “IneffectivePower tweak stops the infamous “Effective Power” text string from deafening CoreText on a system-wide level. And it should work in every app so this is the simple method to fix iPhone message crash bug.

Therefore, this fix not only would fix the bug in Messages app, but it will also fix third-party apps like Snapchat and Twitter. It seems that, this tweak injects its magic at the “CoreText level as opposed to being injected into SpringBoard.”iPhone-message crash

Important step to install this tweak: you will need to add a new storehouse to Cyida: Once it is added, you can download the tweak free of cost. After it is downloaded you will see that it will keep your iPhone safe from such infamous unicode characters-based text messages in the future. Using the above given techniques and methods you can easily get rid of iPhone message crash bug permanently.

Apple has released first time a beta version for public download which will help the company to understand the bug fixes and errors more deeply because more inputs shall be available from public users.

Jailbreak users must keep in mind that they will not be able to jailbreak iOS 8.3 and if they are willing to give a try to 8.3 beta they should use a spare device or compromise on their jailbreak.

As you are aware that Pod2g has tweeted recently that it may take more than one month or even two, to release the iOS 5.1 untethered jailbreak. In his tweet he told that he and others are working on 5.1 untethered Jailbreak, he mentioned in his tweet on 24-April-2012 “ETA for 5.1 JB: No Clue. We’r going to set pieces of the puzzle together this week. We could have issues… could be 1 month may be 2. It seems that it is becoming difficult for them to dedicate all their time for jailbreaking ios 5.1.

Pod2g has launched a poll to ask jailbreak community whether they should work on iOS 5.1 jailbreak, because it is believed that Apple will  announce iOS 6 at WWDC 2012 in June 2012. So Pod2g may be thinking that instead of giving more time on iOS 5.1 jailbreak and getting it in next month it is better to wait till June 11-15 and if iOS 6.1 will be released then it is better to jailbreak iOS 6.

Since Pod2g cares for you and me so he decided to ask us and vote whether he should jailbreak 5.1 or should wait for iOS 6 jailbreak. Now it depends on our vote, I voted for 5.1 jailbreak. The figures till now are going in favor of ios 5.1 untethered jailbreak. I am sure he will respect the majority and whatever is the result after 5 days, lets see what is next.

There have been 89228 votes till  I am writing this post and 57 % are in the favor of 5.1 jailbreak (watch below screen shot). So you can visit this site and vote for future of the jailbreak i.e. 5.1 or 6.

Thanks God the news about 5.1 jailbreak have been started after a long wait. Two days earlier pod2g tweeted that he has found an exploit for jailbreak, then chpwn tweeted that still it can take months, but now yesterday pod2g tweeted and announced that he has overcome the ASLR barrier that was preventing him from finalizing the iOS 5.1 jailbreak. You may not be aware of ASLR (Address Space Layout Randomization) which is a security measure introduced by Apple in recent versions of iOS, in order to make jailbreaking of IOS difficult. The target of jailbreakers for ASLR was to find a way to bypass the ASLR. Which pod2g has done now.

Based upon the above news I am sure that our beloved jailbreakers are very close to jailbreak 5.1 , although still they need to work on ETA. I think we should keep visiting their blogs and if possible make donations so that they can continue their 5.1 jailbreak process to make us happy.

Guys keep visiting my blog so that you are always updated on current status of ios 5.1 jailbreak and subscribe below to my blog so that you can receive emails automatically.
