How to jailbreak iOS 9.0 & 9.0.2 using the Pangu Tool On iPhone iPad iPod Touch. Below is very simple and steady procedure which you can follow in order to jailbreak any device which is compatible to run iOS 9 and iOS 9.0.2.
Jailbreaking iOS 9 & 9.0.2
It is recommended to backup your device before using Pangu ios 9 jailbreak. Although Pangu team has successfully tested Pangu 9.0 with a number of devices, we strongly suggest you backup your data via iTunes before jailbreak.
Secondly if you upgraded your iPhone, iPod or iPad using OTA option we recommend to restore using iTunes because success rate for Pangu iOS 9 jailbreaking is 100% if you fresh restore to iOS 9.0.2 or 9.0. You can try without fresh restore and you might be lucky to have jailbroken iOS 9 without error. Luckily there is now the option of restore in Pangu 9 itself and you don’t need to worry only this process will need a bit more time and of course a strong WiFi for downloading the iOS 9 before jailbreak 9.0.Pangu itself now provides a functionality to easily restore iOS devices and automatically complete the activation and jailbreak, through a simple one-click.
Further in order to increase the success rate, please switch your device to airplane mode, and disable passcode and “find my iPhone” functions in system setting.
If you face the error or warning of “Disk is almost full”, no need to worry this is common because during the jailbreaking process, Pangu will write some important files into the system partition and lead to this warning. However, it will not affect your device. If Cydia is installed, it will re-adjust the system files on its first launch and then the warning would disappear.
Finally before going to start the iOS 9 jailbreak process here is a checklist of some necessary steps if your iOS 9 jailbreak is facing failure again and again.:
- Please switch to the airplane mode.
- Please reboot both your iOS devices as well as your computer, and try again.
- Please use the restore functionality in Pangu to restore your device, and try again.
How To Jailbreak iOS 9, 9.0, 9.0.2
Download the latest version of Pangu from our jailbreak iOS 9 download page or directly from below links:
[Mirror] [Mirror 2]
The file is an .exe file which can be executed by double clicking but we recommend to run using right click and Run as Administrator but just hold please read below steps before running the Pangu 9.0 program.
Make sure you have turned passcode off, Find my iPhone Off and better to put your device in Airplane mode.
Now run the Pangu iOS 9 jailbreak tool and wait for the program to identify your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. Once your device is detected by the software. Uncheck the PP checkbox and click the large Start Jailbreak button to begin iOS 9.0 or 9.0.2 jailbreak process.
Now Pangu program will ask you to confirm that you’ve backed up your device and that it’s in Airplane Mode, click the Already Did button (the one on the right) to continue.
The iOS 9 Pangu tool will now start the iOS 9 jailbreaking process and you will notice the progress increase inside the Pangu screen. Your idevice will reboot and at the 65% mark, you will be asked to enable Airplane Mode.
After the jailbreak progress is reached at 75% it will stop and now you have to run Pangu app from your device Spring Board. Tap Accept and tap OK to allow Pangu access to the photos. Keep your device connected and do not close the app. After this step you don’t need to worry now all steps are complete and after a while Pangu screen will show 100 % progress.
You can open your device and run the Cydia app to start getting benefits of iOS 9 jailbreaking.

Recently Cydia Installer is upgraded by Saurik current update brings support for package downgrades. The update can be accessed from Cydia changes tab.
Here’s a look at what’s new in Cydia 1.1.23:
Support Package Downgrades:
All too often, I release a new package, and find out during the first few hours after release that there was a serious regression :(. Even if I pull the new version, users who upgraded do not have a way to easily downgrade.
Now, not only will Cydia allow you to downgrade to the “current” version, but it also allows downgrading to any previous version that is available on the repository. Going forward, I will leave previous versions online for some time while users are able to sort out issues.
Find Extensions for Applications
This feature was directly inspired by UnlimApps, who released a Substrate extension for Cydia called TweakHub.
The idea: automatically determine what applications a Substrate extension is designed to modify, and use that to provide categorized lists based on the iOS applications you have installed.
This technique is exciting, as it does not rely on repositories and developers to manually tag packages (this never works out): most of this information is already picked up automatically by Cydia’s “whole package index” :D.
(Oh, if it isn’t yet clear why UnlimApps wanted this feature: they develop a number of app-specific extensions ;P.)
Clearing Caches Could Kill Cydia
A user reported a situation where they ran out of disk space, iOS cleared their caches, and then Cydia wouldn’t run.

The latest version of Cydia 1.1.19 has brought big changes for the users. The new thing that is seen in this latest release by the Cydia is that the installer now doesn’t run as root but runs as mobile. Resulting in tweaks now enable to revise and modify Cydia. For all the users out there, this something big for a news.
What does this mean? Cydia’s UI might not be your favorite thing which now solve because of the new updates to Cydia by Saurik. at first there were limited tweaks in Cydia and you couldn’t do much about it but now since the new release you can approach a number of new tweaks which will now be able to work on your new version of Cydia.
Once you update or install the new version you will now be able to modify Cydia. You can take an example of keyboard application which works on all apps but now because of the new version it will also work on Cydia as an improved keyboard.
Saurik Releases the Cydia 1.1.19:
However, you need to be patient because there may be some tweaks that are facing some problem in running in the lasts version of Cydia such as applying a unique color to some text. This might be because of the developers who have not yet experimented with this yet so you just need to keep calm and wait for bug fixs and other updates which will eventually improve Cydia released by Saurik.
Also it is a new technology and if a tweak fails to work and turns cydia unusable for you then you must reboot your cell phone. Simply switch off your cell phone and when you switch it on make sure you press the Up volume button till you are done with rebooting.

Please note this installer update is not a fix for Cydia Substrate.
Here is what’s new in Cydia Installer:

On iOS 8.3, Cydia would report that it “cannot identify your device” while trying to access your account. This was due to changes on iOS 8.3, and has been fixed.

Recent versions of Cydia have rejected “local” repository URLs. This was due to an overly-limited filter on acceptable URLs. You can now again use local repositories.
