iOS 9 jailbreak has brought a lot of new features to the table, and many of those features have been borrowed, whether by coincidence or not, from already existing jailbreak tweaks. In this post, I summarize some of the tweaks that have been natively added to iOS 9 beta 1. Show case is a tweak, which has finally appeared in this iOS jailbreak, showCase was a tweak that accurately portrayed the current letter case on the keyboard key caps. Now, this feature is native in iOS 9, and it will help eliminate confusion when typing.
iOS 9 Jailbreak – A look at the Features
Ryan Petrich’s legendary VideoPane tweak allowed us to detach videos and watch them while multitasking on our jailbroken iOS devices. It was rightly listed in many top jailbreak tweak lists, and brought genuine usefulness to iPhone and iPad users everywhere. Along with Apple’s other multitasking efforts, it now allows for similar functionality to Video Pane. Ryan’s legendary tweak was of the greatest jailbreak releases, and the ability to have true Picture in Picture mode on iPad is one of iOS 9’s greatest features as well.
Searching the contents of the Settings app. Quite the novel idea, and jailbreakers did it first. The aptly titled Search Settings, allowed users to easily search the contents of the Settings app over the last year. Search Settings, like the aforementioned Video Pane, was created by Ryan Petrich. Now the same basic functionality is available in iOS 9.
There are several jailbreak tweaks that aim to help save battery life, but BattSaver was one of the more popular releases to do so. It did so by tempering your iPhone’s radios, which, as I understand, is what iOS 9 does with some of its new battery saving techniques, albeit to a lesser degree.
ReachApp wasn’t the only tweak that brought true multitasking to iOS, but it was one that I felt was the most sensible in its approach. ReachApp brought true side-by-side multitasking to iOS, and it did so very well. iOS 9’s new Split View multitasking feels a lot more polished, but tweaks like ReachApp showed jailbreakers what was possible with a little innovation. And since iOS 9’s Split View is currently limited to just the iPad Air 2, Reach App will still be used by many jailbreakers for lesser iPads and iPhones.
Last but not least, Dash was a jailbreak tweak released back in 2012 that allowed users to change the App Switcher look and animation style (CardSwitcher did it even before that in 2011). Not only did it allow for a full screen App Switcher, it brought a Time Machine-inspired animation style to the table, too.

While the iPhone has become the de facto the most popular camera in the world, many Android handsets have far better cameras out the front for taking selfies. But that could change soon as code strings point to a future Face-Time camera upgrade delivering video-shooting capabilities in full High Definition 1080 pixels resolution, Slow-Mo video capture at 240 frames per second and more.
Code strings in iOS 9 contain placeholders for other front-facing camera features, including panoramic capture and built-in flash. Many people are looking forward to capture panorama pictures of their face.To better put these features in context, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus face-time cameras are both outfitted with a rather sub-par Face-Time camera for taking selfies with a ƒ-/2.2 aperture and 720 pixels video recording capability.
iOS 9 important Feature will Be Face Time Camera:
When it comes to taking photos, however, these cameras only capture 1.2-megapixel photos in a laughable 1,280-by-960 pixel resolution. Other features of the Face-Time camera on the new iPhones include backside illumination sensor, auto HDR for photos and videos, improved face detection, support for burst mode, manual exposure control and timer mode.
The report said Apple and Sony had entered an agreement to build a new plant for iPhone camera sensors worth 35 billion yen, or about $340 million. In addition, Apple pundit John Gruber learned “from a birdie of a birdie” that Apple is in fact working on the “biggest camera jump ever” for the next iPhone model.
The popularity of selfie apps and dedicated selfie sticks for taking single and group photos while being able to preview the image from the iPhone display certainly warrants attention given to improving the Face-Time camera. Bringing brand new features like front flash and existing features like panorama and slow-mo capture to the Face-Time camera should amount to a compelling upgrade for many iPhone users if the what the code suggests does ship this fall.

The ipad have proved to be one of the best travel companion, with both a huge library for apps and games that keep you entertained on the go. the retina display make watching movies on your ipad even more enjoyable. There are two viable options when it comes to transferring movies to your iPad without using Apple’s iTunes, and the first is to use cloud storage. Using cloud storage is the simplest way to transfer movies to your iPad, but it may also be the longest way especially for larger files.
How to Download Movies to iPad Without iTunes:
There are many third party storage options that have accompanying iPad apps, but the most popular ones are Dropbox, Google Drive and One Drive. Offering 2GB of free storage when you sign up and 500MB for every referral (up to 16GB), Dropbox seems to be the most popular service. So, to start with, make sure that you’ve downloaded the Dropbox app from the App Store on your iPad and installed the Dropbox folder on your PC or Mac.
To transfer a movie, simply copy and paste the movie file from your computer into the Dropbox folder. Now comes the part that could take a while, depending on the size of the file and your internet connection, it could take up to a few hours to sync the movie to Dropbox. You’ll know once it has finished syncing because it’ll have a green tick next to its icon.If you want to export the movie so it’s available in the Photos app, that’s also an option. Once you’ve selected your movie, tap the Share icon in the top right hand corner and tap on Save Video. It’ll then export the video from Dropbox, ready to be accessed via the Photos app. Click here to read iOS 9 vs iOS 8 comparison.

We test out iTunes Radio to see what kind of radio service we can expect when Apple launches iTunes Radio in the UK. We look at using curated iTunes Radio stations and creating My Stations to build a personalized radio service on iPhone, iPad or Mac. With iTunes Radio, you can pick a track, artist or genre to create a custom station. This customized iTunes Radio station then plays music tracks from the whole iTunes catalogue. iTunes Radio also has offers Featured Stations: these are DJ-curated, editorial or hybrid stations.
The Featured Stations change on a regular basis, and many are time sensitive (such as the current Top 50 on iTunes). To start iTunes Radio on an iOS device you open the Music app. With the iTunes Radio update to iTunes in Mac OS X, or the Music app in iOS, a new Radio tab appears at the bottom of the screen.
iTunes Radio for iPhone and iPad:
Tap this to view Featured Stations and New Station. During our test we could see the iTunes Weekly Top 50, Pure Pop and First Play stations in Featured. To start playing music simply tap a Featured Station and it’ll play tracks from the iTunes Store.
If you don’t like a track you can tap the Next icon, although you can only skip six tracks before the Next icon is faded out. When the Station is playing you will see the Previous button in Music replaced by a Star icon. Tapping this enables you to add a track to an iTunes wish list, or options for Play More Like This and Never Play This Song. You also get a direct link to purchase the track from iTunes in the top-right.

When Apple Music launches on 30 June, it’ll be available for iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Mac and Windows PC in the form of a free update. Apple Music will be found within iTunes on your computer or the Music app on your iOS device, and you’ll be able to sign up and use the service for free for three months, after which Apple will begin charging £9.99 per month for the service.
Apple Music vs Spotify : Which one is Better?
There is no free option of Apple Music, which is where users will turn to Spotify, which offers an ad-supported option if you want to stream music for free and don’t mind the lower quality and ad-filled content.
Apple Music takes advantage of Apple’s already huge iTunes Library, which has more than 30 million tracks. Plus, your own songs ripped from CDs or already downloaded from iTunes will be right there in the Music app for you to listen to alongside the Apple Music tracks you’re streaming. Spotify also has more than 30 million songs available, although a noticeable omission is Taylor Swift.
So far, we’re not completely certain about the audio quality of Apple Music, it’s limited to 256 kbps. That means it’s lower than the 320 kbps offered by the Premium option in Spotify, but higher than the 160 kbps offered in the free version.Apps are available for both Apple Music and Spotify. There’s already a Spotify app for Windows, Mac, iOS, Windows Phone and Android, but Apple Music won’t be getting an Android app until later this year and the Apple TV app isn’t expected until autumn, either.
It’s currently unclear whether Apple is working on a Windows Phone app for Music. Both Apple Music and Spotify allow you to pick and choose songs you want to stream as part of your subscription, but they also boast personalized recommendation algorithms and numerous playlists designed to suit your mood or activity.

The concept of Two Dots is relatively simple, maintaining the same minimalistic design of the original, with the colored dots and simple animations making up the majority of the app. The aim of the game is to produce as many vertical and horizontal lines from the same coloured dots as possible. Producing squares is the best way to advance through the levels, hence the game’s motto: “When in doubt, just make squares”.
Users of the original Dots game will be aware that there are two challenges: collect as many points as possible against the clock, or beat your high score in 30 moves. Two Dots builds upon the latter, with users restricted to a certain number of moves per level. The aim of Two Dots is not to beat your own high score but to beat each level.
Two Dots Tips for Apple and Android Users:
Advancing through levels with a restricted number of lives is reminiscent of games such as Candy Crush and in many ways Two Dots could be thought of as a more stripped down version of these games, appealing to a similar fan base. Each level presents an increasingly higher level of accuracy, with different-shaped grids and challenges, designed to stump even the most avid of puzzler.
Each player is assigned five lives, which if lost are replaced every 20 minutes or can be refilled for 69 p for the more impatient players. Lives are lost if the player fails to compete the level in the assigned number of moves or restarts the level from the beginning. The lives are a source of contention for many, as some of the grids are so difficult that the restricted amount of moves mean that the player can drain their lives quite quickly.
Two Dots Tips for Apple and Android Users:
To add extra moves or lives, the player has to make extra in-app purchases, which could prove expensive for the most addicted of players. Perhaps more infuriating is the fact that the more difficult levels depend quite heavily on luck rather than on actual puzzling skill by the player, with how the dots initially fall heavily influencing the outcome of each level.
