If you like Mozilla Firefox browser and want to use this browser on iOS device then you have to wait until Apple make it possible. Mozilla announced that it is not possible to provide the Firefox to iOS users right now. Due to Apple strong control on its device software’s, programs and apps, Mozilla is not ready to build Firefox for iPhone under these restrictions.
Apple always have restriction when dealing with software companies for example, currently all those browser that run on the iOS devices they all have Apple’s UIWebView component that causes the slowness and some other problems of the browsers. Mozilla is not ready to compromise his technology by using this component in Firefox. Mozilla demands from Apple to withdraw these limitations so that Firefox for iPhone can be developed. Mozilla want to develop software that really very useful for the Apple users. If we assumed that Mozilla is agreed on the Apple conditions then iPhone, iPad or iPod users will suffer the same problems as they are facing with other iOS browses.
Apple is not willing to Provide Firefox for iPhone or iPad
In past, Mozilla build a trial browser version for iPad but was not able to build a public version because of many restrictions and policies of Apple. Unwilling behavior of Apple is another reason of this issue and this behavior is same for Google’s Chrome too. Mozilla announced at one platform that may be Mozilla is harming itself because it is not the part of world largest smartphone iOS and not providing Firefox for iPhone. Mozilla is not facing this negotiation problem with Apple only but with Microsoft’s windows RT too.
If you want to run Google Chrome on your iPhone, iPad or iPod then you can do this by using the jailbreak tweak BrowserChooser. This tweak allowed you to set Google chrome as default browser on your iOS device. But if you want Firefox for iPhone then you have to wait until this politics between Apple and Mozilla is resolved.
