As of today there has been confirmed news and sufficient evidences that on Super Bwol Sunday a new jailbreak tool shall be released by evad3rs team. Still it is not announced that which iOS 6.1 jailbreak tool we will be downloading either it will be Absinthe 6.1 Jailbreak or RedSn0w 6.1 jailbreak. Of course the team has kept this as a secret and it will be revealed at the time of its release, in my opinion there may come a new name like evad3rs 6.1 jailbreak or totally new jailbreak tool.

Update: The tool to be used for iOS 6.1 untethered jailbreak will be called evasi0n 6.1 jailbreak tool which is going to be released on super bowl sunday i.e. 3 February 2013. Cheers!

If the team has decided to keep the old names then probability of using Absinthe is more so we may need to download Absinthe 3.0 or something similar to that name. Absinthe is a great jailbreak tool that provides easiest way of jailbreaking any device with only option of jailbreak, but redsn0w can provide us many other options like restoring and stitching the blobs etc. Also it is possible that they are going to release the untethered 6.1 jailbreak using both earlier tools i.e. redsn0w and absinthe with new versions like redsn0w 0.9.16b1 or Absinthe v 3.0.
